The room was larger than the other rooms we had stayed in previously and this room also had a huge hot tub! I can not say enough good things about this resort. When we arrived we were quickly greeted by Tomas one of the bell boys, he is so lovely and really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. He took us to our room and introduced us to Gerson our butler. This man really made our trip!! He checked in with us everyday and made sure we were taken care of. The beach is absolutely beautiful (although there was much more seaweed than normal but the resort has people cleaning it early in the morning) still beats all the beaches throughout all of Mexico by far!!! Take the time to talk to the staff, they are such hard workers and are truly amazing people!! Arcenio Morla (our butler) made our experience the best. Butler service is of great assistance and provides personnalized service (which we tried several times and were perfectly served). I hereby would like to give a special thanks to the 'behind the scene' staff (Management, HR, Coordinators, Cuisine Chefs..) who work very hard to make our stay memorable but without even noticing them. We have tried all the restaurants except the Italian and the Steak House. Most of the dishes are very salty in most restaurants (except 'Le Chanterelle' and the Royal Turquesa exclusive buffet). Salt is very unhealthy and kitchen staff should pay attention to it. I am a great fan of cocktails unfortunately, I could not enjoy as much as I wanted as bar tenders used too much sugar in the mix. All in all, we had a fantastic time in the resort and we recommend it to honeymooners and romantic trippers. Great food, views,service and entertainment. We stayed at the Royal suited. Charlie was our butler and he was just wonderful. He helped us with restaurants reservations and transportation during the whole stay. We're planning another vacation there next year.
